Embed a Spinning Wheel on Your Website (Free)

Any wheel on SpinWheelMaker can go on your own page. Visitors press and hold SPIN, see the result, and can remove the winner and spin again, without leaving your site.

Get the embed code

  1. Open any wheel, from Explore, the Wheel Studio, or one you make yourself.
  2. Click Embed under the wheel.
  3. Pick a look and a size, then click Copy embed code.
  4. Paste the code into your page (see below for your platform).

Where to paste it

WordPress
Add a Custom HTML block where you want the wheel and paste the embed code.
Google Sites
Choose Insert, then Embed, open the Embed code tab, and paste the code.
Notion
Type /embed, choose Embed, and paste the link from the code's src attribute (it starts with https://spinwheelmaker.com/embed/).
Squarespace
Add a Code block, paste the embed code, and turn off Display Source.
Wix
Add Embed Code, choose Embed HTML, and paste the code.
Blogger
Switch the post editor to HTML view and paste the code where the wheel should go.

Slide decks like Google Slides can't run embedded web pages. Link to the wheel from a slide instead, or open it in fullscreen while you present.

Questions

Is embedding free?

Yes. Any wheel on SpinWheelMaker can be embedded at no cost, and the embedded wheel shows no ads.

Can I embed my own wheel?

Yes. Make a wheel, save it, and use the Embed button on its page. Private wheels can be embedded too, since anyone with the link can open them.

Will changes to my wheel show up in the embed?

Yes. The embed loads the saved wheel, so edits appear after the page refreshes (allow a few minutes for caches).

Can visitors remove a winner and spin again?

Yes. After a spin, the Remove & spin button takes the winner off the wheel for that visit, and a link puts the removed slices back.

Can I change the size or colors?

The Embed dialog offers three sizes and several looks (Classic, Neon, Casino and more). You can also change the width and height numbers in the code.
